Yeah, I know, the last thing you feel like doing after Christmas is doing anything even remotely festive. I usually feel like going on a raw vegetable cleanse and never drinking another mulled wine as long as I live. Last year I bought all new fairy lights in the sales (about £150 worth for £30) and let me tell you, when I break those puppies open this weekend, it's going to feel VERY F***KING FESTIVE in my house (and I will feel a bit smug). Similarly with Christmas smells: box them in January and save them for next year if you get festive scented smells given to you this year. No one wants to smell mandarin, nutmeg and cinnamon in the New Year. I discovered WHITE COMPANY Winter smells in with my decs this year that I had mothballed last year and I nearly cried with joy.
